Ramble: What is Crossing Andromeda?

Crossing Andromeda, to me, is a journey. It's a place for throwing anything and everything at the walls just to see what it will look like. It's a time for forgetting everything that shapes the roles played in the day-to-day. It's a feeling of expression uninhibited by "should" or "should not," and ruled by awe.
Someday, in about 4.5 billion years, the Milky Way will collide with the Andromeda galaxy. That collision will no doubt be beautiful and destructive, and new things will come to be as a result. The moment is a constant transition in which something is destroyed and something is created. Will that something matter? Perhaps not. But the fact that it happened, is happening, and will happen, is significant enough in itself.
